Day by day

  1. 1

Arrive in Srinagar and float on Dal Lake

Your driver meets you at Srinagar Airport and takes you to your hotel. Rest, then take a family shikara ride in the evening. Kids love the colourful boats and the vendors on the water. If you land early, we add Nishat Bagh's wide lawns. Overnight in Srinagar.

  2. 2

Gulmarg day trip with Gondola and ponies

Drive about two hours to Gulmarg, a meadow basin at about 2,730 m. Ride the Gondola to Kongdoori (Phase 1), walk the meadows and let the kids try a pony ride. In winter, sledges and snow play take over. We go up to Apharwat (Phase 2) only if weather and everyone's comfort allows. Overnight in Srinagar.

  3. 3

    Srinagar to Pahalgam

Drive about three hours via Pampore and the Awantipora ruins. Saffron fields flower in late October to November. Walk beside the Lidder River and have tea at the market. Overnight in Pahalgam.

  4. 4

Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and back to Srinagar

Tour Aru Valley and Betaab Valley by local taxi, then drive about three hours to Srinagar. Stroll Boulevard Road and shop for shawls, walnuts and dry fruits. Overnight in Srinagar.
