Booking policies
The short version of how bookings, changes and refunds work. Your written confirmation always lists the exact terms for your trip.
Tour cancellations
- More than 30 days before departure: full refund.
- 30 to 20 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 12 days before departure: no refund.
- Refunds reach your account in 7 to 10 working days, less a 5% bank charge.
For cancellations between 19 and 12 days before departure, the refund is confirmed with you at the time of booking.
Hotel bookings
- Children. Children under 5 stay free. Children above 5 are charged as an extra person.
- Cancellation. Free cancellation or changes up to 15 days before arrival. No-shows are charged 100% of the room rate and tax. Early bird, long stay, last minute and package rates cannot be changed or refunded.
- Late checkout. 12:00 to 17:00 is charged at 50% of the room rate. After 17:00 the full room rate applies.
Usually not included
- Flights and train tickets.
- Gondola tickets, pony rides, sledging and other activities paid on the spot.
- Monument, garden and monastery entry fees.
- Medical expenses and travel insurance.
- Costs caused by strikes, weather, road closures or emergency evacuation.
