## Booking policies
- Tour cancellation: More than 30 days before departure: full refund. 30 to 20 days before departure: 50% refund. Less than 12 days before departure: no refund. Refunds reach your account in 7 to 10 working days, less a 5% bank charge.
- Hotels: Children: Children under 5 stay free. Children above 5 are charged as an extra person. Cancellation: Free cancellation or changes up to 15 days before arrival. No-shows are charged 100% of the room rate and tax. Early bird, long stay, last minute and package rates cannot be changed or refunded. Late checkout: 12:00 to 17:00 is charged at 50% of the room rate. After 17:00 the full room rate applies.

## Frequently asked questions
- What is the best time to visit Kashmir? It depends on what you want to see. March to May brings tulips and blossom, June to August is green and ideal for treks, September to November has clear skies and golden chinars, and December to February is the season for snow in Gulmarg and Pahalgam.
- Can you customise a package for my dates and budget? Yes. Every package on this site is a starting point. Tell us your dates, group size, hotel preference and budget, and a co-ordinator will send a day-by-day plan with a clear quote.
- Do you plan Ladakh trips as well as Kashmir? Yes. We run Leh, Nubra and Pangong tours by car and guided Ladakh bike trips from May to September, and can combine Ladakh with Kashmir by road.
- Is Ladakh safe for children and older travellers? Most of our Ladakh tours suit ages 10 to 70 (bike trips 18 to 70). Leh is at high altitude, so every itinerary starts with a full rest day. Please check with your doctor if you have heart or breathing conditions.
- Are the prices on the website per person? Tour prices are per person on a twin-sharing basis unless stated otherwise. Hotel prices are per room per night and car prices are per day. Final prices depend on season and hotel category.
- What is your cancellation policy for tours? More than 30 days before departure you get a full refund. Between 30 and 20 days you get 50% back. Less than 12 days before departure there is no refund. Refunds take 7 to 10 working days and a 5% bank charge is deducted.
- Can you book hotels or a car without a full package? Yes. We book hotels and houseboats across Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam, and rent sedans, Innovas and Tempo Travellers with drivers on their own.
- Are airport transfers included? Yes, airport pickup and drop are included in our tour packages. A representative meets you at Srinagar or Leh airport.
- Which activities cost extra? Gondola tickets, pony rides, sledging, garden and monument entry fees, and the Thajiwas glacier trip at Sonamarg are paid directly on the spot. We tell you fair local rates in advance.
- Can someone help us while we are travelling? Yes. Our Srinagar team is reachable by phone and WhatsApp 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the whole trip.
