Day 2: Delhi - Srinagar

From Delhi fly to Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir, city of lakes,places and historical monuments.The Indien Adventure looks after flight reservations, In Srinager, you will be staying in a deluxe houseboat, a nautical version of a five star hotel room. After lunch, you commence your sightseeing activities with a Shikara Ride on Nagin Lake. A Shrikara is a traditional Kashmiri Gondola. Dinner and overnight at houseboat

Day 3: Moghul Gardens And Old City

A day spent in acquainting yourself with the glorious past of Kashmir. Visit the famous Mogul Gardens, Shalimar (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his beloved queen Nur Jahan in 1616, Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asif khan for his sister in 1633 and Chashma-I-shahi (Royal Spring). Coming back for lunch at Houseboat. Afternoon drive down to old part of city visiting Shah Hamdan Mosque, Jamia Masjid,Historical bridges, Tomb of Zain -Ul - Abdin and Rosebal which is considered as a Tomb of Jesus. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.

Day 4: Wular Lake By Shikara

After early breakfast water expedition to Wular lake by Shikara through the river jehelum. Lunch on the bank of river Jehelum. In the evening we will enter into the Wular lake, which is the Asia’s second largest lake.Dinner and overnight in tents on the bank of Lake.

Day 5: Manasbal Lake

After morning breakfast continue to Mansabal Lake, famed for its lily and lotus bloom.The deep clear mountain water of the lake entices many to swim and Manasbal has been described as a bird watcher’s paradise. Dinner and overnight in tents on the bank of the lake.

Day 6: Ganderbal Lake

After the early morning breakfast continue to Ganderbal Lake, delightful picnic spot under the Chinar trees and to swim in the cool river water. Dinner and overnight in Tents.

Day 7: Anchar Lake

After breakfast we will drive towards the Anchar lake.Many varieties of herous and water birds can be viewed at close range on the posts and floating gardens which fill the lake. Dinner and overnight in the tents.

Day 8: Anchar Lake To Houseboat

After breakfast return to houseboat enroute passing through Amir Khan Gorge (nallah) where several spices of kingfishers can be viewed at very close quarters whilst nego.After crossing the gorge of Amir Khan we will reach Nagin lake. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.

Day 9: Free

At leisure - just to relax, or visit the city. If you wish you could even water-ski.

Day 10: S.P.S. Museum And Shankaracharya Temple

Afternoon visit S.P.S. Museum and Shankaracharya Temple, from here you can see the whole view of Srinagar. Dinner and overnight at houseboat.

Day 11: Srinagar – Delhi - Onward

After breakfast assistance for departure and transfer to Airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening transfer to the International Airport for your onward flight.
